Our Companion Classes are designed to train well-mannered, attentive and compliant pet dogs. Graduates of our Companion Pro class have the skills to embark on careers in many dog sports or activities should the handler be motivated to do so! 2020 Training Sessions start date: June 2, 2020

• Puppy Playschool – 8 classes (1st class no puppy) – $130 taxes included
For all puppies of 8 weeks to 5 months old. Toy breeds up to 9 months old

• Companion Rookie – 7 classes (1st class no puppy) – $150 taxes included
Basic training for dogs at least 5 months old as well as graduates of Puppy Playschool

• Companion Pro – 7 classes – $150 taxes included
Advanced and Off-leash training, for graduates of our Companion Rookie

COMPANION CLASSES

Puppy Playschool

For most puppies 2 to 5 months old (Toy breeds may be as old as 9 months.

Once a week, you will receive an email with a link to a video, where the week’s homework exercises will be demonstrated. You will also receive written homework for those exercises. You will be invited to join a Facebook group where you can easily ask questions to your instructor.

Focus on socialization and confidence-building. Puppies develop important life skills and trust in their owners. We help you with unwanted behaviors such as jumping, nipping and barking. Our gentle methods are effective with puppies as young as 8 weeks old.
1st class is without puppy

Tuesday
Time: 7:30 p.m.

Companion Rookie

Basic training for dogs 5 months and older and also for graduates of our Puppy Playschool. Large breeds may join at an earlier age. Life skills and essential manners such as coming when called, not pulling on the leash and not jumping on people. Practical and effective training to help your dog become a well-behaved member of your family.
1st class is without dog.

Wednesday

Companion Pro

More advanced obedience training skills including off-leash work, response to signals, attention games and distraction training for graduates of Companion Rookie.

NOTE: The Companion Pro class is available to teams (handler and dog) that have graduated from our Companion Rookie class.
